I have a question concerning the knowledge of the playing mass.
I often read or experience, that the mass don`t know basic strategy
or card counting. So I wonder, if they(the ploppies)know, what the difference is between s17 and h17, and how this affects their play.
I also read, that there is a competition between the casinos, and when a casino wants more players, they change the rules and hope, the ploppies know, that s17 is better than h17. Can anybody tell me,
if the ploppies can be attracted by rule changes?

there are a large number of habitual players (play on a regular basis) who are sensitive to rules and are not accomplished players. Favorable rules adjustments are not made to attract the occasional, tourist player but to attract the habitual player who gets tidbits of info on whats good and whats bad as he/she puts in week after week of play. I know many of these players who are very CSM adverse and CSMs are declining because they aren't cost-effective without constant, regular play.. they particularly fail in in venues with regular, repeat clientele but continue to be deployed in tourist traps.

It's also true that the lack of any good game can have more universal impact on a venue's overall reputation. I learned from a solid source that Tropicana re-instated DD due to both concerns and evidence that not having it was leading to a reputation for not having as good a game as other LV casinos in a general sense.

You would be surprised at how many ploppies that worship blackjack know what's good and bad.

How many times have I heard the saying of the Pro Ploppy preaching "It's in the book."

Not all ploppies should be rendered stupid, many play a good game and understand a good game but tend to a lose control.
