The south strip has some good shoe games and a couple of good double deck games. Luxor, I think has little to offer but MGM, Monte Carlo, NYNY, and Trop have something to offer.

As always, the quality of the games varies with the minimum bet you can afford to play. All the low limit games ($10 or so) are either 6:5 or H17 8 deck with poor pen. Even the high limit shoe games are H17. You can do much better. In addition to ihate17's good advice (getting a current copy of CBJN) Luxor is connected to Mandalay Bay which has better games at slightly higher table mins.
