Just the other night. August/2019
A guy was capping his bet on blackjack table when he had a good hand. He thought he was super smart, super sneaky. When the dealer appeared to be looking at another players hand he would add $25-$50 more on his bet. What you don’t realize is dealers take a mental picture of the bets before he or she deals. You can’t tell that they do but yes before one card is dealt that dealer knows what is on the table. Sure there are lumpy dealers out there but why take a chance. You can’t possibly know what dealer you might get away with it cause they don’t look the part of being sharp or not too bright. The one with the not too bright look could be the very one who catches you. Like in this case the dealer allowed him to get away with it few times not to be nice but to be sure he was actually doing it. You don’t want to accuse someone if you’re not sure. So dealer informed supervisor and supervisor called eye in the sky then the next thing you see is a bunch of security walking the cheater out in handcuffs. A few months back there was a young man who when he had a good hand he would pretend to straighten out his bet but he was adding more chips. I leaned into him and said don’t do that. He got the message and he never straightened his bet again. Sure I could have ruined this young man’s life by getting him arrested then he’d have a record and his Vegas trips would be senseless cause every casino in town would have his name, picture, etc. not every dealer is going to be as understanding as me. Some actually get off on catching you. So don’t try it. I don’t know what it is but people come to Vegas and think they can do whatever they want. They think it’s a fantasy land with no rules. Wrong! It’s a very serious business. Yes you can have fun, have a blast but it’s the last place you want to screw up. Not only that but our jails are filled with people whom just wait for tourists like that. Now you have other problems as well. Many gang members there whom don’t care about their own life let alone card about your life. They will fcuk with you.
(Don wouldn't like this guy's grammar but he gets his point across!)
