If you don't have the patience to wait
for the count to get high enough to make big bets, then why count at all? Just bet big all the time, no? I think you are misunderstanding the method behind the KO count. If anything you will be putting out max bets more with KO than a system like hilo, cause KO max bet number(the pivot) is equivalent to a True Count of 4 for hilo. Whereas "most" players playing hilo wait to a true of 5 to put out their max bets. The irc is -20 for a reason, cause KO is an unbalanced count and it's power shows at the pivot. Why would you start at zero and NOT count the sevens? This makes no sense to me. If you aren't gonna count the sevens, you are playing hilo, with no truecount and a whole lot of indices that aren't gonna fly, not to mention your betting ramp will suffer immensely!
My advice, go back and "read" KO blackjack. Don't just skim it. Cause if you read it and take your time, you will understand how silly your post is. Not trying to degrade you by no means. But if you read the book thoroughly you will see what i mean.
Also, justme asks a good question. Are you playing poor cut games? Cause this will allow you to see fewer high counts and make all the difference in the world.
Good luck to you,
