Bet Spread for 6 deck game

I'm trying to come up with a simple bet spread for the green chip level.
I came up with this:
TC 0-1 ...$25
TC 2-3 ...$50
TC 4 .....$75
TC 5+ ....$100

This spread looks like a simple progression.
It only varies from 1 to 4 units, and might not draw might heat.
I don't know..

Any comments or suggestions please.

You need to change your betting ramp to either +3 or +4. This is the point that you have good information for the remaining deck(s); and should raise your bet to the 2-3 unit range. If you want to make it seem like a progression, I suggest letting your bet(or a portion of it) ride when you win a hand and the count goes up. This will also keep your losses to a minimum when you can't win a hand no matter how high the count is. I'm sure others here disagree with this point of view, but it always works for me. It also draws less heat, as you are only raising your bets when you are winning;IMHO. Anyway, hope this helps.

That is fine if you like making 98 cents an hour playing all. Yep, your spread makes 98 cents an hour. I calculated it with CVCX. It was on a 6 deck S17, DAS, DOA, no surrender game with 70 % pen. If you play at H17 game, you will lose. Huh, I'll even say that if you play a very good S17 6 deck game with 85 % pen, you will probably lose with that spread. If you are fine with making $ 10 / hr which is what an optimal 1 -4 green spread would make, go work at McDonald's. Sorry, just little upset right now.

I'm going to say this.

Grab your testicles, go buy some real software at qfit.com, and go make some real money at blackjack if that is what you are here to do. If you don't want to buy software or books, you'll need to spread at least 1 - 12 with today's game. I'm even thinking 1 - 16 is necessary, now.

Some things that I forgot. If you plan on playing professional bj, sooner or later a pit boss is going to find out that you are a counter, unless you are very good at ace location techniques and other things that I am not good at.

But, they will let you play forever with a 1-4 green spread. At least, most places will. If you aren't interested in making tons of dough but just getting by and making a little, you might want to just wong- in and out a lot playing 1 - 4 or 1-3 . Someone on here even figured out that with a certain game you can play only positive counts flat betting and still make a little.

Also, the optimal spread for a 1 - 4 on 6 deck S17, DAS, DOA is this:

Your NO = 15,742,000 which is astronomical. Meaning, you need 15,742,000 rounds of blackjack to get into the "long run". That's 15 million !

This is with a play all strategy. I must indicate that. If you wong-in you will be fine as I indicated further. Many times, it is difficult to wong- in and so I usually calculate my spreads with a play all strategy and if I can wong-in , I make all that much more money.

Pit bosses will confront you. Smile at them, answer their questions while your spreading 1 - 30 on their sweet ass double deck table.

I was giving you the spread I use to play 2 deck. MemoryMaster was right, though; there is no way you can use this spread to realistically beat a 6 deck game. My advice would be to lower your play to red chip level for 6 deck and adjust your unit size accordingly. You're going to need between a 1-12 to 1-20 spread to make any money at all.
