Best place on the Strip for COMPS? Green and black play.

Done some searches so far and from what I've found the comps on the strip have become fewer and far btwn.

Heck you guys are even blowing off the Rio and Caesars lately.

Anyways, I'm a green chip player, betting up to black. I plan to stay on the strip in one of the main casinos. No dive hotels please.

Where's the best place these days in terms of comps? Hilton Flamingo? Do the Rio and Harrah's rate players the same (they use the same players card) or should I stay at one over the other?

Quality of the buffet at the hotel to be considered too.

Make sure you get the bets up there in the 2x200 range sometimes (of course when count is high).

Flamingo has a great location and is (in my opinion) an attractive place. They will definitely give decent comps to a green and low black bettor.

The Stardust and IP are the "easiest" comps in my opinon because they spell it out for you very clearly. You give them an average bet and 4 hours a day and they give you what their guidelines say. The buffet requirement you have takes the IP out of the picture.

You might also be able to get some comps at Treasure Island with that level of play depending on if it is an off-weekend or a weekday, etc. Just don't let the comps get you playing over your head (over-betting or playing too long).

The main thing with getting comps is that at your level of play you can pretty much get what you want at some nice casinos but you have to ask. Casinos may offer stuff to you, but if you want a room or a meal, etc. your best bet is to ask a floor person or host. Their job is to say "yes" if they can.

In my opinion, Stardust is by far the easist room comp on the Strip, as long as you have an out of state adress, anyone with a players card can get comped a room there, I keep my out of state adress on file their, and everytime i have friends in town i put them up for free at Stardust, and all i have to so is play BJ for about an hour or so. They also give two free meals with the free room, its a great deal, and i spread 10-50, so im not even a big bettor, the only thing is its north Strip and its not the classiest place in town like what you want, but it does fine for me whe i get it free. Also Rio is still a farely easy room comp to get, just get 500 points in a day and its comped, and 500 points at your level is probably around 3-4 hours of play and you will also get good food comps with that.

Stardust is easy in food comps too. I was given a full dinner comped with a drink from the bar after 2 rounds of actions! I backcounted until tc3, jumped in, bet big, and was smacked with a snapper! I doubled up the winning, rec'd a 3 & 8 against the dealer's upcard of 6. I doubled down big time & rec'd a 2 for a hand of 13. Bammmmmm, the dealer pulled a 5 on top of 6 & 10 for a hand of 21. I got choked while dinning as I thought of that damned 5 coming out of that deck!
