Best Days to Play?

Just wondering if there is a positive correlation between
holiday weekend, regular weekend or weekday advantage play.

Surely the holidays are more crowded, distracting, etc.
and may be better for cover. Same for weekends, except
maybe in the depths of winter.

What about weekdays, when the Senior junkets and 'normal'
people work. Lighter play at the tables, easier to
concentrate, etc.

The more bj tables open for your choosing &picking, i.e., 100 tables, the more likely you'll find at least 1 winning/profitable table (i.e., 1 with best pen, easiest trackable, flashing, "good-karma-machine", etc...). I'll say finding that table is the hardest, and the counting of cards, & other BS are a walk in the park.

Strictly from an earning point of view, the times that allow you to get the greatest number of hands per hour are the best. Obviously, this means the slow times. However, during slow times, there might not be many tables open, so you still may be stuck with crowded tables. You are also under heavier scrutiny, since they now have time to concentrate on individual players. During peak hours, you may have more tables to play and more wonging opportunities and less heat from busy pit and surveillance crews.

The best times to play really vary from one casino to another. I have found that more often than not, a good time to visit is just before the casino routinely opens more tables and/or a hour or so before they start closing tables wholesale. But your mileage may vary.

especially at tourist destinations. It will vary from place to place but 7a.m.- 10a.m. can offer a nice window of opportunity for advantage play. More dealers in mass coming on day shift means more tables being opened. With the pit staff busy, less scrutiny of your play and table hopping for heads-up is possible.

I wasn't sure if this was a trivial question, or not.
You all gave me other good points to consider.

In many cases, it appears that the best time to play is
when one gets there. But if one can plan a bit, and time
one's arrival, I didn't know if any slight break might
exist. Then one must scout out the best table, pen, etc.,
anyway.

Lowest AC table mins are weekday mornings in general. You are most likely able to backcount as well, even though the casinos try to maintain a filled table attendance. But, hands per hour generally increase with higher table mins and no mid shoe entry, obviously
