Best AC games?

I kept losing in Foxwoods/MGM and Mohegan Sun recently, dealer always got his/her ideal cards, not me...is it a poosible cheat? Now I want to switch to AC, do you have hot ideas about AC casinos? Which one is better? Some friends recommend me Hilton. True? Thanks.

Genericly speaking Atlantic City rules are slightly worse than Conn, as AC doesn't offer late surrender, which is worth .08 off the top but more to card counters. If you are a low level player, there are also very few stand soft 17 games left at the $10/15 tables. The Hilton, which you asked about has decent $25 and $50 minimum games (stand soft 17 with decent penetration) but they are overly paranoid about these games, closely tracking the money and constantly doing chip counts. For my money, Borgata offers as decent a game as anybody in AC (which isn't good) and with a large number of tables it is easier to find a dealer giving decent pen.

FW/Mohegan are not cheating, you just got unlucky. It happens.

Foxwoods BJ is far superior to anything offered in AC. You are not being cheated at FW. Mohegan Sun has a lot of continuous shuffling machines (last time I looked). Some people say the CSMs can be beat, which I doubt. But even if that is true, FW is a much better place to play for a variety of reasons.

What year wher you at MS last? I havent seen a CSM or ASM at MS in over a year and a half unless you play carnival games.

There are no CSM or ASM at the BJ tables.

I believe I have been there in the past year and took a cursory look at the BJ games. They seemed to have CSMs but I guess I could be wrong. I always found the pen and comps better at FW, and FW also had more friendly dealers.

So the conclusion is go to FW rather than go to AC, if it has to be AC, Bogota is the best place. Is it right?

And for FW, MGM is connected with FW, you are talking about traditional FW or FW with MGM. The reason I asked is that I lost very uncomfortable in MGM in FW.

I think FW has the best overall conditions on the East Coast. I think the pen is a little better at FW than MGM. Why did you feel uncomfortable at MGM? I like Borgata in AC, although I have not been there in awhile. I will have to check out Mohegan Sun based on the other post.

Mohegan has the worst penetration, they always cut 1/3. FW has the best penetration in East Cost by my experience.

My friend won like $2300 at the $10 table, then the heat came stressing him out with scare tactics asking for your card asking questions, etc., regardless if you are a counter, ploppy or whatever. I have several friends (gamblers not counters) telling me the same thing.

In FW, you never get that kind of heat.

I agree with you. I was willing to give it another look based on what bjcount wrote. I like FW a lot and have never felt any heat. They have me down as a fairly big long term winner and they don't seem to care.

at Mo-Sun, even in HL they cut 4/6d so it's not worth the visit into those areas unless you've scouted and have your list of prospects with you.

As for heat, only once did I feel it, and not a single time in over 500 of hours have I seen a tap out.

Specially beginning this year, I think there are 2 main reasons:

1. Because of the recession and chapter 11 filings

2. A lot of ploppies are visiting Mohagen, FW filling up the tables probably expecting for luck also because of the recession (it's getting more and more crowded).

Attendance is way, way down in both CT casinos. Ploppies are not "filling up the tables". Exactly the opposite.

But games there have not been deteriorating. MS has been lousy for years.
