Bay Area rules/minimums - short update

The San Francisco Bay Area is home to a couple really nice games and the two I have been frequenting the past few months (Placerville’s Redhawk and Brooks’ Cache Creek) have changed a few specs:

Redhawk - been here slightly more out of the two, the minimum for all DD games is now 15. Also, I have not found it to be too sweaty when going through the motions.

Cache Creek - just one unfortunate rule change: no double after split. Not sure when this changed but ever since I first went here, burned into the felt on all SD and DD tables is something to the effect of “no double after split and no re-splits”.

Nonetheless, these games have been great to me so far and will happily be going back for more :)

Do you ever go to Graton, River Rock, or Twin Pine?  Or any of the ones around Clear Lake?

I have been to Graton a number of times casually with friends but it is largely unplayable. Typically one 8D game at 25/min on the main floor (not always open), and then one 6D and one DD in high limit (always 100/min each). If you play at higher stakes, the setup here is doable. But the one time I went into high limit to play the 6D casually, the pitboss watched every single shoe and everyones hand the entire 30ish mins.

River Rock is on my to-do list. Will report back.

Keep sharing specific information on open board, it's the best way to kill games.
