I'm curious, how come most basic strategy calculators only calculate up to 4 splits? The casino where I'm from you can split an unlimited amount of times, is this a strange rule? Is the added advantage of splitting more than 4 times so small that's there is virtually not difference?
Also what would the basic stategy be for a black jack game with the following:
6 decks.
Dealer stands on soft 17.
Split as much as you want (including aces, though as usual 1 cards on each ace).
Double down on any 2 cards.
Double down after you split.
BJ pays 3:2.
Dealer takes all bets on a black jack.
Bonus payout of even money for triple 7's. (You get paid as soons as you get triple 7's then you get paid again if you beat the dealer's hand).
Here's some additonal info:
No hole card.
Insurance and even money offered.
Dealer cuts 1.5-2 decks.
Spreads of 5-100, 10-200 & 25-500.
Mid-shoe entry allowed.
There are additonal squares so you can play behind other players. THis allows you to watch until it gets good.
Minimum 2 squares must be played whenever a table is open.
You can play up to 3 squares.
You only have to play the table minimun per square and each bet doesn't have to be the same.
Thanks for the help.
