I was barred at Foxwoods three weeks ago. Invited to play all other games ( I play poker Tourn.- Lot of fish ). I beat them for about 20K over 2 mo. Play was probably too aggressive 50-600. Casino manager no real problem. However they took my 1800 points without any ability to appeal. No plans to return.
50-600 is high roller, 12 times speard.
they still found out you are card counter?
how aggressive you think you are?
50 then jump to 400,500?
How often did you play in 2 months? how many hours for a session?
how much advantage do we have if we play in foxwoods?

I really can't tell you exactly what margins will keep you under the radar. I can only give you my experience. I really believe my getting barred had more to do with total wins and profit as much as exposure. I played 2-3x per week average 4-8 hour sessions. My play is aggressive but I hate to give up my advantage when its there. The only game worth playing for the best advantage is 6 decks and 75% penetration. If you play there you already know the particulars.
I'm all done there but I'm happy to share my experience.

This is the major problem of our endevour. Once we are capable of playing a winning game, and mastering all that must be accomplished to do just that, the candy store closes.
It's not difficult to understand that casino's don't want winning players taking their money. However, on a personal level, it is just not right.
Disquising ones act only works for so long. With todays technology it will become almost impossible to play regularly in ones home area. One can take years to become proficient, practiced, and good, only to have no place to play.
There is no justice.
And backline somebody then how can they find out.
when they suspeect you are counting, they will look up your Win/ loss record frist if you have being rate.
if they see your record is LOSING. they probably will stop checking you. If they see you are winning, they will continue keep 2 eyes on you ( floor and camera).
so, what if you win some money, but under 10K in their recrod. will they still take time and action on you?

The comp system at Foxwoods makes playing without a card suspicious. The only decent games are $50 minimum tables and you earn money for time played to spend anywhere in the casino.
I attempted to sign up for a poker tournament and was told my account was frozen and I must go to speak to casino personnell in the security area. I hadn't played BJ that day. I was informed by casino personnel that I was identified at my last vist by the pit boss and surveillence as a CC and was barred from BJ. 90% of the time my play was in the "newport". However my last playing session before I was barred was in the High-Limit area adjacent to the Poker area. Supposedly this is where I was identified as a CC.
You have two choices BEFORE getting barred if you are using just one casino to hone your game. The first is that you go with a friend and alternately use their comp card as long as they arent playing anything like slots at the same time. This will cut your session appearances down from twice a week to once a week. You can still spend the points with your friend so its not like you have lost them.
Option two is to grab ANY DISCARDED card that has a name that sounds remotely plausible for yourself (dont use a chinese named card if you look irish for example - obviously, or go ahead for the humor of it all). The slots area is littered with forgotten cards. Grab any card and make some random strangers day. you might even be able to check the points, find one with few points as the card holder likely has a limited history with the casino. This allows you to present a card, not look suspicous, and not get ID'd right away unless you look familiar to the eye in the sky. As for the points, if you are ripping them a new one with your game who cars about the wampum bucks, take the CASH instead.
Thanks Gern. I appreciate the thoughts. I learned the necessary skills to win but I unknowingly underestimated the importance of good cover strategies. This place is a done deal. However, the learning is a growth curve and there is a whole lot of other situations out there.
