The other day at my local casino, i found a BJ dealer who was shuffling slugs (ie. groups of cards 3/4 of a deck thick were not getting shuffled at all, just cut). He didn't even realize he was doing it and did it for 5 of 6 decks (its a 6 deck game).
How can i take advantage of this? Do i just try to estimate where the slugs end up? For this i would have to memorize huge sections of cards and then estimate their placement throughout the shuffle, cut and deal.
This seems like alot of work, is it really this hard to do or is there some other method?
What does seem feasible is to remember the a string of cards at the beginning of the shoe, track them, and try to cut to them. I know there are a select few who can track groups of cards and cut exactly to them, figuring the exact infiltration.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to go about starting this?
Thanks
