Well, I guess the title says it all.
While waiting for my copy of Blackjack Attack, I was pondering the feasibility of multi-table hopping.
Say I`m playing the typical 6 deck game, using Red 7, IRC of -12 and pivot of 0. I`m backcounting 3 tables simultaneously. The count reaches pivot on one table, I plop myself down play a few good rounds, then the count heads south.
Gathering my winnings, I leave the table.
Can I then continue counting the other tables, where I had previously left off?
I understand that uncounted cards are to be played as if they were behind the cut card, and with an unbalanced count...we can skip any TC conversion problems associated with estimating the cards we didn`t see.
So, I guess my question, is...
What effect does penetration have on backcounting with an unbalanced count?
Or to give a crude example...If I`m playing a game with the equivalent of only 10% penetration, but the count suddenly skyrockets to pivot...should I wong in?
I`m a little new to unbalanced territory.
Thank you for any and all replies,
Cheers!
