I just realized this morning what a pit boss told me years ago. I said something like " I love this game the first time I played it I won my first eight hands!"(referring to baccarat) The pit boss replied "thats what we want, we want you to win at first, so you'll come back". And I realized this morning I had just let my unconscious megalomaniacal child get the better of me. (Yes I am currently reading a book on the psychology of gambling as you can plainly observe, sorry). Anyways I dont want any of you guys or gals (mainly the advantage play community) to make the mistake of flirting with these other games of pure chance. I dont want to sound like I am preaching to you but I am mainly writing this post to get it off my chest, and maybe help persuade a beginner or two reading this post to avoid the temptation of these fickle games or to quit playing them while your ahead.
