More bad news for red chip small stakes atlantic city players. Until yesterday the only $5 games in town where at Taj Mahal, and Bally's wild west on weekday until about noon. I also heard that borgata always has 1 $5 table open, but have personally never seen it. Anyway as of Wild West has stopped offering a $5 game. They have downsized the number of blackjack tables and close them at 5am, referring everyone to Bally's Park side of the property where of course there are no $5 tables and only 1 $10 table. This is probably the Harrah's influence as playable games at Harrah's atlantic city and showboat (owned by harrah's) have alll but dissappeared. Also as we read earlier this year on this site, someone has petitioned the New Jersey casino control commission to allow dealer hit 17 games. Info on the NJCCC web site does not reveal who the petitioner was. Wouldn't surprise me if that was harrah's as well. Hopefully the ploppies won't stand for it and boycott those games. It has taken a while but I've noticed fewer 6-5 games in ac than last summer and they are much less crowded than the shoe games. Way to go ploppies!!
