Back in December there was significant debate on Green Chip about our XLBJ program. There were some who thought it was some sort of bait and switch and who didn't understand that this was a program we ran TOTALLY FOR FREE without charging any participants.
If I had my time over again, I wouldn't have used the phrase "free for applicants who meet our criteria" because some people incorrectly interpreted that to mean "free for those who meet our criteria, but course fees charged for those that don't".
Of course what I meant was "free for those who meet our criteria, and if you don't meet our criteria you can't do it, not at ANY price, we do not charge for XLBJ!"
Anyway, just as the final chapter in the discussion for now for those who followed it back then, the following post went up on our website today:
Post on blackjack-masters website
For those who were waiting on the XLBJ program or interested in the program, this email went out to applicants today:
Dear XLBJ applicant
Thank you for applying for blackJack-mAsters XLBJ program.
We have run our first pilot program and do not need any more applicants at this stage. This is a group email to all applicants of XLBJ who were not selected at this stage. You will notice that we have removed references to XLBJ from our website, www.blackjack-masters.com.
Just because you were not chosen for our XLBJ first program does not mean that your application did not qualify or there was any reason we did not particularly like you. As you would imagine, we were inundated with applications and only needed a certain number.
We are considering further XLBJ programs in the future, and your details have been retained by bJm. You may well be contacted in relation to this many months in the future. Obviously, at that time your circumstances (and ours) may have changed, so well ask you to re-submit your information, and this may in due course lead to an interview with us. At this stage we are still planning for the program to be free of charge. However, we will only select applicants who meet our selection criteria. We have not charged for XLBJ: applicants who do not meet our criteria will not be able to do XLBJ at any price.
Once again, thanks for your interest, and sorry we werent able to do anything with you at this time. However, you will hear from us again.
In the meantime, please keep up with the goings on at bJm by visiting www.blackjack-masters.com. There are many new and exciting changes coming up this year.
Best regards
Andrew W Scott
