Advice required

Hi Everyone,

I wondered if someone can help me. I'm playing BJ in Australian Casinos (8 decks) using the following count:

A = -4
KQJ10 = -3
9 = -1
2,7 = +2
3,4,6 = +3
5 = +4

I bet according to:
<1 = 1 unit
1<2 = 2 units
2<3 = 3 units
3<4 = 4 units
4< = 5 units

I try and stay away from low count games and generally leave the table when the count gets positive.

I am betting small waiting to see some returns before I start increasing my bets. Although I'm not losing, I'm really not coming out ahead.

Does anyone have any suggestions on whether I should be winning with this strategy orhow I could improve my strategy?

What are the rules of the game

Since it is 8 decks, it looks unlikely that you will beat the game.

Greetings Enrico's owner,

You're using the Revere APC with a 1-5 spread at a 8D, S17, D9, DAS, NS game.

Your strategy would be very powerful at a deeply-dealt single deck game but I'm afraid it's a loser against your mediocre 8-deck monster. What you need to do is switch to a simple level one count system, such as Hi-Lo or KO, and either avoid all negative counts or increase your bet spread to around 1-20.

I suggest you invest in Professional Blackjack (for Hi-Lo) or Knockout Blackjack (for KO), plus Blackjack Attack and possibly some software to calculate bet spread and risk of ruin (BJRM2002 or CVCX). (No, I'm not on a commission.)
