Can just using an Ace side count along with BS give you much of an advantage? Or is counting that much more effective?
If the biggest advantange you get from counting is insurance then knowing how many aces that are left has to have some value?
doesn't have some value, J & A, I am simply saying it isn't a SIDE count if that's all you are counting. Side count means in addition to and unless I misunderstood, you that is ALL you are counting.
counting only aces wouldn't give you much, if any, advantage. There would have to be a large amount of aces played, to know when to walk, or left, to increase your bet. This would happen so infrequently that it wouldn't be worth the time or energy. You'd be better off spending time learning a rudimentary count. Good luck!
