Memory Lost and Found
Actually, DV, I'm attempting to job my synapes into remembering the exact set of circumstances, but this was the jist of it. It had something to do with reasons where critters would not want to ask you for any personal information.....wait a minute...I just dug through my e-mail archives and found it. Here's the small snippet from an e-mail I thought I also sent you. Sorry if I didn't.

If asked if I want a players card:
- "Sure. But first, I will need a statement of benefits and a copy of your peronsal data privacy policy because I don't want my info broadcasted like Bill Bennett's." If they cannot provide a privacy policy statement, then too bad, no ID and no card.
- "Nope, I get 50 spam messages a day now and don't want any more."
- "Last time I did that the place never stopped bugging me and I kept getting letters asking me to come back. I guess those big losses at slots really hurt me."

BIA response:
Another tack would be to start telling them a really boring story at length about what happened to you when you got one somewhere else.... This could be getting it stolen, or the trouble you got into at home, etc. Just make them stay and listen until they are dying to get away. You could post this as The ten best ways to remain a welcome refusal.
DV, hope that puts a better light on the subject. Again, I have some offline issues to discuss with you. What's the new path, my friend?
