A thought crossed my mind....

I have been thinking of a way to hit the 100% win rate on cvdata. And something occurred to me... Progression with session limits playing perfect basic strategy. I recently purchased cv data and have run 3 sims that has a win rate of 100%. I have read many from many places that progressions dont work... I totally agree with that statement... I also read somewhere that session are also bull shit. So i decided to plug in parameters into cv data that had just that, sessions and a progression. And the results were quite surprising... Now it could either be one of two things, the mathematicians that wrote the program mess up some how thus bringing in the idea that maybe that's not the only thing wrong. Anyways some one plug it into cvdata so I can be proved wrong. I used a 1-4 bet spread of course you would only double after a loss. If you lost three times in a row bet 4 until you win. The session information was 100 units with a 5 unit session target with ten round limit per session. It wins more than quite often... win rate 100%. How ever with out the session limit it only wins pennies an hour.

Its nothing I would do when I play. Because I know when I have the advantage and will play accordingly. therefore I am an advantage player, not someone whoso times wins. I could make more per session than that if I chose sessions. Then again we all play sessions. I dont look at trips as trips but look at them as sessions.

How about when you start losing from the get go, your theory is dead in the water. What happens when you lose 10 hands in a row, it happens more often than you think. I once lost every hand of a shoe playing heads up.

Side counting seems to counter act quite a bit of the losses you would normally have if you were just counting and playing perfect basic strategy...Past two month's when I play heads up with the dealer I have not lost more than 5 hands in a row. And that is about 4 hours of playing a day. I do not nor would I ever use this strategy since I am a side counter but so far it seems like it would have worked quite well if I was playing that strategy. Wouldn't have lost yet. I would not have made as much money playing progression with session limit but it is just a thought!
