A dealer was describing a player she had dealt to once that would sporadically - when he had a low bet out - keep hitting until he busted regardless of the hand total. Other times when he had a higher bet on the table he would play more conventionally except that he would not hit 15's and 16' and would use some other variations to basic strategy. She said he made a lot of money with her. No other players were at the table.
I recognized this as moves an AP would make. I had not up until then heard of a hit "till you bust" at low counts strategy but it does seem like a way to use up a lot of cards with out spending a lot in bets.
Is there any literature out there about this ? Has anyone tried this strategy ?
