I never thought I would get plagiarized!
This is a quote from "The Golden Gate" which appears on my website, www.cardcounter.com:
When things are going well, the counter should exhibit signs of happiness and satisfaction. When things dont go well, the counter should act disappointed, and even a bit nauseated. Inside, the counter knows that there is no such thing as a trend or flow. The dealer does not get hot. The deck is not changed for the better or worse by how an individual plays his hand. A stiff sixteen is just as good as a blackjack. The machine turns, the hands churn by, bets are made and won, made and lost, and by-and-by the inevitable laws of mathematics force the conclusion that the counter will win. However, in the face of only winning sessions, I stood proudly on the inevitability that I would continue to win every session, period.
Kind of familiar, eh?
