Don when playing baccarat is there any statistical advantage to playing the opposite of player/banker after three consecutive results come out the same?
...If you bet against the run of three and continue betting against the run, you can lose your entire bankroll. If you bet with the run, you can only lose one bet. Other than that, I doubt if there is any statistical advantage in your scheme except, if it were not for the 5% vig on the bank wins, you would have a slight advantage betting against player runs of three, only because the bank wins slightly more hands than it loses (nothing to do with the three previous player hands, but the juice I am sure would eat it right up. Not mathematically proven, but I think I am correct.

...on a baccarat score sheet for about 75 bets do you know what you will be looking at? You will be looking at something that looks like what you would have by recording every hand in a single shoe of baccarat. In other words, you have just wasted a whole lot of time.
Try it some day. You can buy a couple of hundred dollars worth of chips and not make a bet, just record hands, and nobody will bother you.

Unless you are somehow playing Baccarat at a positive EV (promo, coupons, casino is using unshuffled cards, etc), then you are better off playing as few hands as possible, assuming that the casino is rating you based on your time at the table and not your actual bets.
Therefore, it can be effective to play any system that results in you sitting out a bunch of hands. This will hopefully generate a rating that is far greater than the actual amount of your action. A system where you only play one "contra" hand after a run of at least 3 consecutive banker / player wins would mean that you are only playing 1/4 of the total hands at most, and probably much less than this. IF you can find an inattentive PC who will keep the rating clock going as long as you are actually sitting at the table, then this would be an effective part of a comp hustling approach.
...Less exposure of your bankroll over time.

On several occasions I have seen patrons arguing about their "average bet" (for rating purposes) on various games, where they were sitting out bets.
Almost needless to say, when the patron complained they were told words akin to ...
"I gotcha at an average bet of $30. You were flat betting $100 but most of the time nothing at all."
