This approach has some benefits
Unless you are somehow playing Baccarat at a positive EV (promo, coupons, casino is using unshuffled cards, etc), then you are better off playing as few hands as possible, assuming that the casino is rating you based on your time at the table and not your actual bets.
Therefore, it can be effective to play any system that results in you sitting out a bunch of hands. This will hopefully generate a rating that is far greater than the actual amount of your action. A system where you only play one "contra" hand after a run of at least 3 consecutive banker / player wins would mean that you are only playing 1/4 of the total hands at most, and probably much less than this. IF you can find an inattentive PC who will keep the rating clock going as long as you are actually sitting at the table, then this would be an effective part of a comp hustling approach.
