Probably not the usual question on the message board but it is driving me crazy. Who is Micky Rosa? If anyone has read the book "Bringing Down the House," or watched the movie, "21;" then the obvious answer is the professor and MIT blackjack leader. But the author states that Micky Rosa was a composite character of the true MIT leaders (John Chang, James Patrick Massar, and Bill Kaplan. There is no mention of a real Micky Rosa in the book, "Legends of Blackjack" by Kevin Blackwood and everything on the internet says the character was a composite also. Yet in the GSN World Series of Blackjack, Micky Rosa competed at least the first two years. And in an interview with Michael Shackleford on Gambling with an Edge, he states he played at the same table as Rosa in one of the tournaments. Is someone using a pseudonym/guise or is there a real Micky Rosa that I am not giving credit to? Thanks for the help.
