If I play a game with 6 decks what are the odds for the tc gets +2 or over? To me it looks like I'm gonna loose a lot of money until the table gets great, if it gets great. I'll never know.
Is their a math way of solving this? Thanks...

...depending on penetration. The deeper the game gets dealt the more likely you will reach an advantage situation.
With good rules, you may raise your bets before the TC reaches +2. You have to calculate your disadvantage off the top.
If the minimum bet is too high for your bankroll you might consider wonging (betting only in positive counts).

How do you come up with that number Francis? While, I agree that the percentage of hands played at a true count of +2 or greater would fall in that range. The question as I understood it was, how often a shoe will get to a true count of +2 or more. I would think the chance of that are greater than what you stated.
Of course I meant the frequency of positive rounds. The question which percentage of shoes will turn into positive - be it for only one round - is irrelevant for practical purposes and I don't think that's what Ravn meant.He was worried that the losses in negative rounds would outweigh what he could win during the rare positive rounds.

I took his question to mean, when he sat down at a table what are the odds that the count would hit +2 or more. I may have misunderstood.
