I was playing at Hollywood in St. Louis. 6 deck with decent penetration. Playing $25 hoping for the count to go positive or looking for a negative count to wong out.
I guess I was not paying attention to other players payouts, but after about 10 hands, I get a blackjack and get paid $30. I said what's going to dealer but before I could even finish, I thought "oh crap- I just played at a 6:5 table".
I think they only have one 6:5 table and minimums are the same as at the regular. I did not think they had any 6:5 and where I have usually seen it is on single deck. Amazingly, there were 3 or 4 players at this table and an empty 3:2 across the casino with same minimums and otherwise same rules.
Always check the print on the table closely and make sure it does not say "blackjack pays 6:5" before placing a bet.
