Hi guys, this is my first post, although I've been browsing the forums for the past couple years. I love this board, tons of information learned, and entertaining as well. On to my question:
The game is DD, H17. At what KO count do you split 99 vs. an ace showing? I recently was dealt this hand and didn't know what to do, but felt "adventurous." If I can recall correctly, I took insurance around +5, dealer unfortunately did not have blackjack, I think the count stayed the same, so I decided to split them. I am quite sure this is the right play, but just want to double check the exact index.
And while we're on the subject, does anyone have a chart with KO indices (particularly for splits and soft doubles, which are not included in the KO Blackjack book)? I believe I did a search awhile back, and resulted in at least a couple of different charts. Thanks in advance for your help!
