If a pair 8,8 v. 10 loses less $ when split rather than not split, does it still lose less when spit again? How about again? I hate 8,8 v. 10. Is there an index # that would indicate a certain TC to surrender or one to just hit it? Maybe I should just shut up, grin and bare it and play it by the book.
I wonder if when they did the computer sims on this situation, if the computer took into account the possibility of catching additional eights after the first split and, if it continued to split them up to two more times. (total of 3 splits = 4 hands) While Im on that subject: During pair splits, anybody ever pointed out the fact when there is a little sign at the corner of the table that states: SPLIT PAIRS UP TO 4 TIMES but they only let us split up to 3 times? Just first grade math. ????? Amazing!
