Hi,
One of the few casino's in my country (the Netherlands) has the following rules:
- 6 DECKS
- European No Hole Card
- Double on 9,10,11 (and on soft 19,20)
- Double after split allowed
- Resplitting allowed unlimited (also for aces!)
- After splitting aces only 1 card allowed
- No insurance, no surrender
Last but not least: dealer wins ties (ouch!!!)
This last rule makes me not want to play there, but fortunately they also have the following bonus:
If you have 5 cards and you are still not busted, then you IMMEDIATELY receive a bonus equal to your bet. No matter what happens, this bonus is yours for sure.
Your original bet, however, stays on the table and you continue playing the game as if nothing happened. Thus, you can take another card or stand and depending on the outcome of the game you win or lose your original bet.
I know the basic strategy tables for this game and all its rules, except for the influence of this 5-cards bonus. I imagine that after having four cards drawn and still being unbusted, HIT would be appropriate for almost all hands (maybe even HIT on a hard 17 against 6?). What's your thoughts on this? Also, do you think that this 5-cards-bonus outweights the disadvantage of 'dealer wins ties'?
Thanks for your help!
