2, 4, 6 deck differences in BS

I'm sure there's a somewhat significant difference with the 2 deck game against the 4 and 6, and I have my basic strategy firmly implanted for my multiple deck (Primarily 6 deck I guess...one of the reasons I'm here for my question) games. I was wondering if there's a big difference between a 4 and 6 deck game, as far as BS goes? Will I be off okay playing a 4 deck shoe with my "6-deck knowledge?" Probably...I just need re-assurance and would like to make sure. How 'bout 2 decks? If I am posting this message in the wrong area (Maybe I should have went to Beginner BJ) ...sorry! A reply to this will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Will my basic strategy variations have to be changed for 4 deck? (From a 6-deck)...how 'bout 2?

the changes for 4 to 6 are probably so insignicant(maybe a surrender difference or a composition play against a 10) that if you are switching from 4 to 6 and back i would not be concerned; However if i was going to play 2 decks i would learn the strategy. If you are switching frequently between 2, 4, or 6 you are better off learning the 6 deck strategy as long as everything else is equal more important strategy deviations come from is it DASA or H17. IFf you play single deck make sure you know the strategy for it i would never use a multideck strategy for a single deck.

I would absolutely learn my new moves for a single-deck game...I was just curious about the 2 to 4/6 deck changes. Your answer did indeed help me. Thank-You!

P.S. The game(s) is(are) H17, DAS allowed, and double on any 2.

I have Wong's book "Professional Blackjack", and in his book he only speaks of 1 and 6 decks. That was why I was curious about 2 decks. Is 2 deck BS close to 1 deck BS or is 2 decks kind of the "black sheep" with "in-between" strategies significantly different from both 6/4 and single decks? ...because I know for a fact 1 deck is different from 6/4, and since 6/4 are similar, I was curious about the 2-decker :)

Is the BS for 2 decks closer to single-deck or 4/6-deck? (I'd guess single)
