Acording to the Ill. 18 the point of standing on 16 vs 10 is TC 0 (Hi/Lo).
What is the logic behind this number?
I realize that I'm more likely to bust when the count exceeds 0, but that is the same when the dealer have i.e. 8 or 7 as well. And here there is no number(Or it's to high to mention).

with 16 v. T the only card that can beat the dealer is a draw of a 5.
with 16 v. 8 you can beat the dealer with a draw of a 3, 4, or 5. Thus you are 3 times as likely to beat the dealer. Thus you should hit unless the count is VERY high.
Mayor, I believe he's asking if one stands on a 16 against a 10, then why wouldn't they stand on a 16 against a 7, 8 or 9.
You're about 3 times more likely to beat the dealer, provided you don't bust, against an 8 than against a 10. This makes it worth the risk of busting.
