Bellagio conditions

Planning a trip to Las Vegas. I haven't been there in a couple of years. Are there still some decent 6d tables with stand s17 and surrender at Bellagio?
Can you get in for these favorable rules at 25 min anymore?
thanks

switching 6D to DD

switching 6D to DD

in reading the posts it sounds like alot of the "professionals" are playing DD. I am very proficient at 6 D with 3 years experience - it is a hobby not a profession. should i be thinking about switching over? Dont you have to be solo or 1 other player max? Otherwise the # hands at pos counts would be so low with the thick cuts and only 2 decks. I am also worried about more heat. i currently play on a card with comps so I have to be careful.

I see just a couple of basic strategy changes. I havent researched the count based strategy tables. I assume there are some minor changes.

bet progression with count question

thank you

since I switched over to a more aggressive style my profits are up but you are right , bigger swings. It depends if you can handle it 1. psychologically and 2. bankroll.
my win rate was almost 80% last year with a kelly approach and max $100 (Ontario govt casino rules) but small wins (100-300). this year my profit per month is higher but win rate looks like closer to 60% with some 1000 plus wins.

going to vegas in feb so obviously potential for larger max bets. I will get much more conservatvie at low and med counts and more aggressive at high and super high counts.

bellagio or mgm grande

bellagio or mgm grande

going to las vegas in feb. any comments on current playing conditions comparing the two above for penetration and heat.
I am planning to spread 25 to 200 one to three hands if i can get away with it. We play as a " couple " and this seems to help reduce heat.

How many of you out there...

start as a hobby until your bankroll is bigger.

i play once or twice a week and never bet more than 100 per spot and make at least 1000 a month- not a living but good for a hobby. this is much lower risk than trying to make a living and risking bans, big losses etc.

bet progression with count question

bet progression with count question

If I am playing 8 deck s17 and I spread from a min of ten to a max of 100 why should I wait until a TC of 3 or 4 to hit max bet. Why not go to max at a TC of 2 given that I do have a small albeit edge. DOes this create too much volatility? wouldnt your long term profits be higher getting to max more often even with a small edge over house.
THanks

optimal # players at table

optimal # players at table

I used to play at the lowest limit tables that had s17 - ($5 min )usually full tables
i switched to higher limit ($15)to get half empty or better tables. All tables are $100 max. I pick up a second spot >TC 3. My profits are way up. the downside is it is harder to weather the neg counts at the higher limit tables - have to leave more often. What is the optimal # spots occupied?

what about 1:1 vs dealer- is it a good idea. you have to suffer through all the neg but you get all the pos??????
