Yahoo Blackjack... Good Simulation?

Hi, I've been reading this board for awhile, and was wondering if
anyone could tell me if using the blackjack game on yahoo.com is
a good simulation of casino conditions.

Here are my stats over the last 6 days, and it seems like I'm getting
better cards than possible. I know they offer more favorable rules
like double any time, you can play the cards after splittin aces,
and catching 10s on split aces pays off 3 to 2. What I do is I only
double on the first two cards, and I always stand after catching the
2nd card on a split ace... so my rule for myself is DAS, 6 Decks,
and if I catch any blackjacks and I bet the extra payoff on the next day and bust the hand on purpose.

But anyways, 6 Decks, S17, DAS. 1-8 spread. I play about 5 shoes everyday.

Day 1: + 80 units
Day 2: + 75 units
Day 3: - 47 units
Day 4: + 43 units
Day 5: + 79 units

Overall: +230 units in about 25-30 shoes. (or 5-6 hours of play max)
That seems insanely high for some reason. I am not observing some extremely high counts, just wondering if this is luck or has anyone else played yahoo blackjack and know for a fact that you win more often than you are supposed to?

doubt if it would stand up to a 6 billion hand simulation, but close enough for practice, I would think.

I mostly play single deck there and I am ahead but not like what you described and I should be since I spread from $1 in neutral/negative counts and $100 in +2 or better. The best part is that if you start a table you can boot ploppies who always seem to split tens on yahoo. It's not supposed to make a difference but it is fun to boot them every now and then.

It is good practice. You should not be too concerned with tracking your dollar results, though. Five shoes is nothing in terms of statistical significance. Neither is 500.

So, simply use the software to practice your counting; not to "measure" your ability.
