I went to LV last month just to play for hours at the extreme low limit games... as well as a few serious sessions. Only had one session of really getting killed, at the Las Vegas Club...
came back with more than I went with
I played a lot years ago,having been brought in to this by a former team member of a notable counter. I have been thinking for years about how I always won more than theoretically indicated.... have some ideas....I am of the inclination that there are some ways to evaluate shoes that have not been done yet that may explain some things I do.

You keep making comments on this board that insite negative comments. Your latest about being able to evaluate shoes before they are played is a dead giveaway.

I play high enough limits such that mid-shoe entry is usually not allowed. When I wong-out thankfully mid-shoe re-entry is also not allowed so that the good friendly people eat through the negative rounds for me. Do I care? Nope. These people could learn to add 1+1 and avoid the bad counts also but don't bother...so they get the casino experice they expect...a losing one.

In the rare case a counter wongs in where No MSE is not a rule, quite often it's because he doesn't realize that I'm a counter also...hey it's a free country and he's welcome to play just as anyone is.

A positive attitude, IMHO. Nice to see that some card counters are able to "live and let live". :)

I personally do the same. I don't worry about anyone else. Except that if I happen to notice another counter at the table, one of us is going to leave very soon. If he doesn't I am. I'm not going to have my bet ramp tracking his in front of a camera, the pit, and the dealer...

I just politely say "enought for me, time for some chow" or something and color up and walk away naturally...

"teally" should be "really"....

I have no idea where "teally" came from and can't even blame it on my wife's cats at home. :)

thank god for cell phones. Supposedly set to "vibrate". Most don't want you to talk at the table, so it becomes quite convenient to step away to answer a "call". There are other ideas. For the second restroom break in 10 minutes, you could say "dang, that chili from the buffet is killin' me." Everyone will be quite happy to see you take another quick break. :) Or you can buy some "instant fart" (yes, there is such a thing), quietly give it a spray under the table, and everyone will be urging you to take a break when you say something. :)

Not a troll.......I did share some things just to see what the response would be... And concluded that this board is for real.

Research and real world playing.

Before last month... I played maybe 5 times in the past 14 years.

Do you really think it bad to go 3 days just playing BS then practice counting and do some experimenting for a few days( such as being a non drinker drinking and see how long I could reliably play, 3 beers was the most).

I did say some things here just to see what the responses would be.....

I have been wondering twenty years about some things I noticed while running up and down the boardwalk 25 years ago..... just now trying to fugure out how to evaluate them. Any posts from now on I will take the time to boil my spacy abstract thoughts into English

I just can't imagine this. I catch heat from 3-4x. Are these 12x bets parlayed?
