10,000 from one place?
If you've won $10,000 from one place in one year spreading green to black, I'd be shocked if they don't back you off or at minimum deny you any future comps. Winners at blackjack are not to be tolerated, counting or not. "You are welcome to play any of the other games here except for blackjack" can simply mean "You've won enough blackjack money from us; that's it."
Most player's cards are tracked for net wins and losses, and big winners at blackjack are usually flagged for 'evaluation', especially if you've won 400 units. (Some high-roller betting $500/hand winning $10,000 doesn't attract much attention.) Unless their game protection system is totally incompetent.
However, if you've played this long and haven't had a sniff of heat and this is the main place you play, why not just keep it up and see if they every stop you?
I know that I won $4,000 over a 5-day trip in Vegas and on day 6 I sat down for a new session and was 'evaluated' from the first card I was dealt and backed off 30 minutes later. Never saw it coming (the staring, the phone calls) I can only assume it was the dollar win that was the trigger for the evaluation. I would have done better to play at other venues instead of hitting this place again after having such a large positive variance.
I use little or no 'cover' at my $25 1-6 spread; always attempting to leave if I feel any heat as opposed to trying to 'cover' my play. I am of the opinion that by the time you think you need to employ cover plays you've already been pegged, and throwing away a bunch of your advantage with cover is too counter-productive. The main thing I've learned is winning a lot in a short period of time requires leaving that game alone for a while.
