I was recently asked this question by a seasoned bj player. "What makes you think bj is beatable if you can go 18 months playing everyday and show nothing but losses?"
"18 months" = what??? playing 24 hours a day 31 days per month? 2 hours a month?
"nothing but losses" = what??? you have lost every session? you have 18 consecutive losing months? a cumulative loss over 18 months?
Playing a strong game a few hours a month for 18 months and being in the red is well within the normal fluctuation.
Playing thousands of hours and still being in the red, having 18 consecurive losing months, etc. something is wrong.
The simple answer is that the stress associated with unrelenting losses is not worth the risk to one's health.
Better and stronger ways to get an edge in casinos than counting. Card counting sucks. It's the reason Jacobsen quit.
