I got tagged not too long ago while
playing with credit out. Marker was from previous sessions, was
playing cash in session I got tagged.
Went to the cage with chips. Cage
was a little confused and said they were informed not to accept
my chips until I payed my marker off. It was a large marker
compared to the level of play. I chuckled and said, yes, I'm
going to pay it down, partly with the chips! Cage says oh yeah
OK... Then I pulled out a large amount of bills and payed the
rest of the marker down to zero. Next shift, I had the balls to
go back to the cage and ask if I could take the marker out, "to
play slots". New cage person looks at the notes, looks confused,
says maybe but there's some note here, I'll call so and so...
no thanks, I say, I'll come back later. I also had a cash comps
balance there. Two months later, comps counter calls cage who
says they'll temporarily remove the credit hold, and I get my
cash comps balance out. But credit remains unavailable.
I never played on front money. But under no circumstances should
they refuse to return that to you.
