a Chinese. I agree with you that Orientals play worse than Americans owing to not enough BJ eduacations (there are 100 plus English Bj books while only perhaps a dozen Chinese and no gambling books allowed in China). That is why I have writen 5 BJ books in Chinese and will publish 2 more soon... If I write 100 Chinese BJ books and some been allowd published in China (now in HK and Taiwan), you'll see improvements of Chinese players.
I played in a casino where most Westerners hit their stiffs against low cards and stand against 7-10 and Ace.
Players from India split their pair of 10s (i.e 1010;JJ;QQ,etc) against any dealers' up card,including Ace.
The only Chinese BJ player in the casino did none of the above.
You can probably guess who he is :~))
