Uston APC

Hey all,

1) My Uston book is shredded, and I'm missing some of the indices (not sure if they were 100% accurate, either, in the first place). Is there a good website where I can find accurate indices for Uston APC? Was looking around, but couldn't find any.

2) Also, how feasible do you think it is to play bj seriously now, solo, with just traditional counting (assume perfect use of Uston APC. I played seriously a few years back (have been playing poker professionally for the last 5 yrs or so, and not much bj since), and did pretty well playing solo at medium stakes. Kind of want to screw around with it just as a diversion, but am aware of how bad the games (were already getting yrs ago) have become. With good homework, etc (I'm willing/able to go anywhere in the world), is it feasible to find sufficient games to play seriously w/o unbearable heat?

John Bukofsky's Blackjack Play Like the Pros has Uston APC matrix numbers. If you go to www.amazon.com and search for "John Bukofsky Blackjack Play Like the Pros", you'll go to the page where the book can be ordered. Furthermore, if you click the "Look Inside" icon on that page, then search for "Appendix Two" and select page 252, you can see the numbers online on pages 252-255.

Note, though, that I have some reservations about Bukofsky's book, and cannot vouch for the accuracy of the numbers he presents, so you may be getting exactly what you paid for ;-)

Three books I heartily recommend would be Stanford Wong's Professional Blackjack, Bootlegger's 200 Proof Blackjack, and Don Schlesinger's Blackjack Attack, Third Edition - you should have a copy of each one in your library.

There are other great books on that page, as well.
