Trump Casino

Hello Friends,
Trump Casino in Indiana has gone from one of the best BJ games to one of the worst. They have eliminated surrender, covered the shoes, and changed all 6 deck games to 8 decks. Majestic Star Casino next door is no better. All 8 decks.

Trump has 6D

Trump has 6D on their $15+ tables. They have covered the shoe, but the discard is still open. Also, I love that it is state law in Indiana that they have to stand on S17.

If you don't like these conditions, try Blue Chip. They don't have surrender either, but the penetration is much better. Also they have a 2D.

the pen at Trump was always pretty lousy when I stopped by

I'll admit that I've only been there about 4 times in the last several years. But the pen seemed to usually suck and they were very quick to half shoe blackchippers who showed the slightest sign of possible advantage play. Too bad about surrender disappearing. I always find this confusing. Surrender reduces the house edge for the very few who use it correctly. But the vast majority either don't use it all or surrender far too frequently and substantially increase the house edge. I find that after a ploppy sees me surrender once that a light seems to go off in their head and they start surrending all weak hands, such as 13 v 8, etc.

Pen was always better there in the 5 and dime store ;-)

But crowded. Not worth your time, but was once my favorite.
