Tribal Casinos

Our local tribal casino is a great place to visit-player friendly blackjack rules, friendly staff, good buffet. I really enjoy the place and in my experience they aren't sweaty.
Question: What happens if the eye in the sky guys notice you're a counter? Do you have any rights like you'd have at a non tribal casino or what?

Though the majority of tribal places act reasonably, there is always the chance of facing an idiot who wants to bully you. Though there have been cases easily worth six figures against non-tribal casinos, most lawsuits against tribals get thrown out under the sovereignty nonsense.

If the casino is managed for a tribe by a non-tribal entity, you have a little better chance of successfully suing in the case of serious misbehavior. Otherwise, if you have trouble, get off the reservation and don't come back for a long time.

The courts will throw your case out as Bear said, and then you might think your only alternative is tribal court, where you stand no chance whatsoever!
The most effective method of getting some kind of justice is the court of public opinion, which can work well in areas where the Indian casino is like a local's casino. This has worked for things like slot payout disputes but doubt it would work for an advantage player since most of the public has bought into advantage play not being on the up and up.

When you think about it in terms like that then you have to just evaluate each "Foreign Country" independently. You cannot assume because Tribe A is reputable that Tribe B will also be reputable. I'd estimate that in most area's about 20% of Tribes are essentially thuggish criminal enterprises, in places like Oklahoma where there is essentially no regulation and the casinos are very small I'd estimate that 50% to 70% of the casinos are essentially criminal enterprises.

The Gaming commission is subject to the laws of the state of Nevada. Tribal Gaming just makes shit up as they go along.

I have played at 4 ok casinos:

one polite back-off but still sending comps & free rooms,
one reduced pen but otherwise no problem,
one no countermeasuress or back off,
and one rules/penetration so bad there is no need for backoff/countermeasures.

I have placed the ones around Miami- Buffalo Run, Indigo, Quopaw, Downstream, and Stables (actually five). No "problems". A few aren't worth playing.

Also forgot that I played the ones around Newkirk a few years ago. Not worth playing except one promo- but no problems.
