I am a beginner counter and have several casino cards from my pre-counting days. Am not a high roller and in the past(not counting) have enjoyed a comped meal pretty much every time I went. Recently have played
14+ hours blackjack without using the card and accumulating any credit.
14+ The
reason being, is a fear of this being used as a "tracking device" if I am suspected of counting. If personal is suspiciuos, could they possibly post an "alert signal" for future observations. At future visits could this signal the pit bosses, or eye in the sky, to watch my play every time the card is swiped. After adaquate time of watching, identified with my card, they could conclude I am a counter and possibly lead to barring. If they don't have this card my play is hidden by short visits at a time on different shifts, hopping around at different tables. It just so happens that I have been on a big losing streak and have handed the casino plenty of $, thus not recognized as a winning counter. Having a comp for all this play would've been nice, but I'm thinking long run. Is my thinking of not using the card a good idea? Or am I just being a little paranoid, missing out on meals and/or rooms, and looking into negative outcomes too much? Any opinions, experiences, guidelines are appreciated.
