RGE never got much traffic. Bjrnet & Bjvision died away in much the same way and they aren't subscriber boards either. The CCCafe does okay with passwords and id's. You tend to get less volume, but less noise also.

I suppose I have gotten used to it. I made some sort of comment like this a while back and some kind soul suggested I join Green Chip where sanity and absence of florid personality disorder tended to be seen as a virtue.
I took this advice and cooled down (with only occasional short-lived regressions & acting out).
I actually have grown tolerant of some of the schizobabble, but I, like you, find the flagrant narcissistic rage (ie flame throwing and posturing)hard to take.

seems to foster people really letting go. What is interesting to me is to observe the natural evolution of this whole net dimension. You can observe that even without Stanford Wong's intervention there is some sort of self-policing that seems to occur. I think it was DD' who said "these things run in cycles". Its really a ripe area for social psych research.
A while back there was this whole "Sonya" thing that was quite outrageous. I left the site for a while and don't know how we ever got rid of her. Perhaps the old Amish tradition of shunning will begin to emerge on the site. Who knows...its actually quite fascinating, even when it gets bad...or maybe especially when it gets bad...unless you came here to talk about blackjack.
