Regarding the notion that if you are an Indian tribe operating a casino, your "civil rights are being violated" if the Law comes in with a warrant to search your records for possible fraud....do you players realize that if this were correct, a possible cheat working for the casino could never be prosecuted? Regulation of Indian gaming is a total and complete farce.
There have been several big-money blackjack players who believe they were cheated and tried unsuccessfully to have the Indians investigated, sued, or whatever. As far as I know, all of these efforts have been rebuffed, as though the Indians do not have to follow U.S. or State laws! They pay their employees next to nothing,then tell them to apply for welfare to get health care benefits. And the tribes are experts in applying for welfare benefits, it seems.
Generally speaking, that's why these posts about Indian gaming are allowed on this board, I believe. They could be busted at any time if the host wanted to do so.
