I wanted to know if there is a difference by adding units on one spot when the count is positive or by splitting those units on 2 spots.
Let's say the True count is 4. Do I have the same chances to win the same amount if I play one hand with 1+4 units or if I split and play two hands with 1+2 and the other with 2 units.
Yes, your expected value (hence forth EV) will be the same whether you bet 1 hand of 4 units or two hands of two units. The amount you expect to win in the long run, or EV, can be determined by multiplying your action (how much you bet) by your edge. In this case probably something like 2% * 4 units. In general you want to play two hands all the time, especially if there are other players at the table.
