The dark side of people can be safely bared (no law and order or Police to induce lawful behavior) in this domain and not all posters may be also as bad as the impressions they leave based on few posts.

Though, I believe, by and large, over a large number of posts, the world of the poster can be outlined and his thinking and thoughts may be exposed without social restraint in a real life situation.

I agree with your reaction in response to the poster you mentioned. I too, do what you do. Who knows, probably many feel the same way as we do. Without a reason or function to be on these message boards for full time, makes one really wonder...

I appreciate Clark taking the time to share in great detail the math behind standard deviation, effects of removal as well as calculating index appproximations. I have even put this information on file.
You claim to be a college math professer, care to comment about the real issues?

Yeah, I know, there are posters who contribute nothing but post about Clark being a moron from the moon because they dont understand him.... or could it be THEY are the morons that Clark dont understand!?

His website has several tools that are useful too. It was not pointed toward him (and his CA casino tales) regarding my comments about public acclaim. The "vacant chair" may be tempting him however!

My Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary has no entry between "pustulous" and "put." Pusuing sounds like fun but it also sounds like it might be bad for your health or even illegal. Anybody have a guess as to what one does when one pusues?

"Acalaim" also was a mystery to me until I checked the dictionary. The words before and after where "acalaim" should be are "acajou" and "acalculia." "Acajou" is a nut and "acalculia" is the "inability or loss of ability to perform arithmetic operations." So I figure that any word between them might be a nut who can't do arithmetic.
