I won't be in Vegas for this weekend, so please, anyone who is, let us know the conditions at the Wynn when it opens.

I am very curious.

Mostly bad pen on the shoes (1 3/4 decks cut off) -- some S17 shoes but also lots of H17 shoes; a lot of CSM's, some 6 to 5 single deck ploppy ripoff games. A few playable double decks, and I'm told there were some 6 to 5 double decks. A major disappointment -- I expected better from a classy operator like Mr. Wynn.

did 6:5 double-deck come from?

It's now in Wynn, O'Shea's, and Edgewater in Laughlin -- maybe a couple more places. Fiesta Henderson, Sunset Station, and Silverton have ridiculous double deck Superfun. The sheep continue to line up for the slaughter.

I saw two entire pits of s17 shoes today with $15 to $100 mins and all had cuts in the 1.3 deck range and dealers used cut notches in the shoe to do the cuts. An associate saw the double deckers and was pretty sure they were 3/2 payoffs but some were h17 and some were s17. There are some 6/5 single deckers.

If you can afford $50 and $100 shoes Wynn is a dream casino. If you're a $10 shoe/double deck player forget it.

The single deck, even money BJ game is not as bad as several have commented getting all the bonus plays, (surrender anytime, & DD anytime).

No, it's even worse. Blackjacks at Superfun pay even money. Blackjacks with both cards being diamonds pay 2 to 1 (1 out of 16 blackjacks). Blackjacks win automatically vs. dealer blackjack, but you can also make the insurance bet if you want; it pays 2 to 1.

The double deck Superfun at the three stores I mentioned all have terrible penetration. The casinos would rather make less total profit than make more total profit, but risk losing to the occasional skilled player. The double deck Superfun at the venues I mentioned is unplayable. As a matter of fact, the regular (single deck) Superfun is unplayable at Fiesta Henderson, Sunset Station, and Silverton, too. Paranoia has overruled common sense at all three casinos.
