Team play with John Reppert?

HI all,I'm new to this site.

I was hoping someone could provide some information on
a John Reppert. Supposedly has been the head of several
(or some) BJ teams in Vegas and A.C. Anyone know him or
even ever heard of him? An associate is supposed to put
me in contact with him for a 'tryout?'. Not sure about
other details. Would really appreciate the help.

Thanks for a response but could you be a bit more
specific. Do you have knowledge on how this 'scam' is
carried out? I have read several books, know how to play
and can count to some degree. I'm curious about the team
play concept and if this Reppert is a legitimate
player/counter.

The Reppert Blackjack System counts 2,3,4,6 and 7 as +1, 5 as +2, 8 as 0, 9 and 10 as -1, and ace as -2. Looks good to me but I really don't know. It was supposedly sold by mail order for $100 in the '70's. I am surprised he is still around. Revere mentions it in his book. Says it is terrible but he says ALL non-Revere mail order systems are terrible so I would take this with a grain of salt. Not familiar with the team play and haven't heard anything through the grapevine in AC that he is playing there recently and regularly.

What about a fellow by the name of Maxwell Youngblood who advertised recently on the Howard Stern show in New York? He claims that he has a team where each team member puts up $150K and after a 60 hour training class he sets them loose in Las Vegas and they make $30K a day. It sounded pretty far-fetched to me, but maybe some of you know more about this guy.

care to elaborate? do you know "players" who were "swindled" or are you just passing along hearsay? i also have heard of him as a pro and i'm most curious to know in what part of his deal this "swindling" occurs. please let me know details either thru direct email or on this site.

I have heard that Reppert has a notorious past with his
so-called 'teams'. Team players have allegedly been
swindled, robbed, scammed, etc...chances are you won't find
an ex-member of one of his 'teams' who will vouch...unless
they are shills for him

I am on Reppert's team at the moment. Can you be any more specific about what you've heard? In the last week or so about half the team quit because they think it's some kind of scam. Obviously, I'm freaking out.

John Reppert has been accused of being a crook and running a blackjack scam. Who was his victim? What was his crime? How much did her steal? When and where did it happen? What law enforcement agency was involved, and what were the charges?

I happen to know personally that John Reppert was an Air Force pilot and also had a seat on the Chicago Board Option Exchange, and neither of those positions can be held by a convicted or accused felon.
