Have been using hi-lo for around 5 years, considering switching to advanced red 7 (with true edge adjustments for betting). In the case of a 6 deck, 80% pen, DAS, no resplits, D9,10,11 only, 1-20 bet spread, how would the two compare using I18 for hi-lo? Thanks for any advice.
I still think its an excellent count for beginners and recreational players, and it would certainly be my number one recommendation for someone who primarily backcounts (unless perhaps they were capable of Brh-0).
Many people don't know that Arnold experimented with KO's tags before settling on the Red Sevens concept. Though his research and simulations were old-school, and the more recent data I have shows KO outperforming R7's in most conditions, the difference is minimal and I believe the count still most certainly has merit.
