The Sundowner has cut its casino pit in half. There are unconfirmed rumors of the future of the Golden Phoenix (just opened!) and the Siena.
What these places needs to compete are rule changes to entice players. How about surrender! For the casino its a big winner (but they are too stupid to know it) as very few players use it properly. While most people will surrender 16 vs. a ten (marginal gain), most of these will also surrender 16 vs. a 7 (huge mistake 99% of the time). How can you own a casino and lose? Easy if you have the diminshed mentality of these people.
